Meet Dr. Sam D. Kim
From Cambridge to Union Square, joining God to restore the beauty in all things.
Rev. Dr. Sam D. Kim is a Harvard-trained ethicist, author, and the co-founder of 180 Church in downtown Manhattan. He was appointed as a research fellow in Global Health and Social Medicine at the Center for Bioethics at Harvard Medical School and was part of Harvard Catalyst, where he researched inequities tied to health, immigration, and social policy.
Dr. Kim also holds the Lifelong Learning Fellowship at Yale Divinity School and Yale School of Medicine, a John Templeton Foundation and AAAS-supported initiative designed to bridge faith and science. His work has been cited by Harvard, Publishers Weekly, and the Washington Post. His debut book, A Holy Haunting, was the inaugural grand prize winner in the Spirituality category for Publishers Weekly's BookLife Prize.
